Overview of Compliance:
It is the responsibility of the Compliance department to monitor and enforce the organization's compliance of employment practices and processes with its own policies as well as local, state and federal employment regulations. Some of the programs that it would administer include EEO, Affirmative Action, Immigration and I-9 processing. Compliance works with employees, recruiters, managers and others in HR to support compliance initiatives, develop and deliver appropriate training and audit employment contracts. It also ensures effective delivery of organizational communications regarding all the programs and processes as well as addressing questions in these areas.
